Drain faster, convey cleaner and keep your washing circuit stable with a heavy-duty vibrating dewatering screen engineered by Cronus for sand, aggregates and mineral processing.
THE CRONUS BACKBONE
Shanghai Cronus Machinery Co., Ltd. is the overseas-facing subsidiary and project brand of Guilin Mining Machinery, a manufacturer founded in 1973. The group combines long-cycle equipment manufacturing experience with a practical export team for mineral processing projects.
From engineering review to commissioning, Cronus keeps the conversation close to the plant floor: real photos, traceable parts, clear duty assumptions and support that continues after delivery.

THE PRODUCT
A dewatering screen separates free water from washed solids by combining an inclined screen deck, controlled vibration and drainage-friendly residence time. The result is a transportable product with less water carried into stockpiles and conveyors.

WHY CRONUS
Mineral plants change by the hour. The screen’s job is to create a stable hand-off between washing, recovery and stockpiling.
Bolted side plates, reinforced members and a practical access layout make inspections easier and limit unplanned downtime.
The supplied configuration uses twin oil-lubricated exciters for stable force transmission and planned maintenance.
Polyurethane, rubber or woven media can be selected around aperture, abrasion, blinding and drainage behavior.
We check feed gradation, density, moisture, footprint and downstream constraints before freezing the design.
APPLICATIONS & MATERIALS
Use the dewatering screen after washing, classification or sand recovery to improve stockpile handling and reduce water carried downstream.
Drain fine sand after washing so finished sand is easier to handle and load.
Common duty · sand plantsSeparate free water from crushed limestone, granite and construction aggregate.
Common duty · quarry plantsSupport dewatering of washed coal, fine coal and other combustible mineral fractions.
Common duty · coal prepHandle iron ore, silica sand and selected tailings duties after process-water separation.

The supplied factory video is watermarked for reuse on this page. Use it as a visual reference; final scope is confirmed from your project data and approved drawings.

Side plates and the reinforced base are arranged for stable support and clean water collection.

From commissioning notes to spare-part planning, the service team keeps the hand-off practical.

Ask a technical question →It uses high-frequency vibration and an inclined screen deck to drain free water from washed sand, aggregates or mineral slurry while conveying solids forward.
Yes. Cronus sizes the deck, screen media, spray arrangement, exciters and support structure around feed gradation, moisture and required capacity.
Typical duties include manufactured sand, silica sand, river sand, limestone, granite, coal fines, iron ore and tailings after washing or classification.
The supplied build sheet lists two oil-lubricated exciters and two 18.5 kW, 6-pole motors. Final motor selection is confirmed against the project duty.
Choose polyurethane, rubber or woven media according to aperture, abrasion, blinding risk and target residual moisture.
Cronus can provide layout review, foundation and piping guidance, commissioning support, operator training and spare-parts planning.
A dewatering screen is configured for drainage and solids conveyance, commonly with an uphill deck angle and dedicated spray and discharge arrangement.
Residual moisture depends on feed gradation, clay content, screen aperture, residence time and upstream washing. Cronus confirms a target after reviewing samples and test data.
Yes. The screen can be integrated with hydrocyclones, slurry pumps, de-sliming screens, sand recovery units and water-recycling systems.
Common stock items include screen panels, clamp bars, rubber springs, exciter seals, bearings, oil, fasteners, spray nozzles and motor couplings.
